Mandalaki exhibition - Milan, Italy 2022

On the occasion of Design Week 2022, Mandalaki Studio presents a preview of the new Halo Edition 2022 collection within the Morel spaces, a former Milanese manufacturer of footwear components since 1926, just outside Milan: a micro-town of 7000 square meters from 8 independent buildings ready to change perspective

These industrial elements arranged like a small village, thanks to their uniqueness and architectural characteristics, have made it possible to expand the horizons of the Mandalaki studio by presenting the immersive installation "Not An Ordinary Space", a surreal exploratory journey to discover new forms of light and architecture.

The installation is inspired by concepts of light characterized by a strong three-dimensional sense determined by a precise balance between "gaseous" shades of color and sharp points of light that detach the observer from the earthly world and project him into the intangible void of space. Thus a new point of view is born: that of an astronaut who for the first time turns his gaze to the porthole of his spacecraft. Pure wonder.
