We returned to the Dolomites — a landscape that has long been part of the studio’s research into light, perception, and the relationship between the natural and the artificial.

This time, the landscape gave us a subject: THE MEMORY OF WATER.

Water is always moving. Sometimes visible, sometimes almost impossible to see. In these mountains, it is also becoming harder to find. Glaciers are retreating, springs are running dry, and what was once permanent is turning into memory. Across the Dolomites we traced its presence through the landscape — in the paths it carves, the textures it changes, the reflections it leaves behind.

To look closer, we moved with it: along the ground, through the terrain, and above it. For the aerial part of the research, we developed an Halo Giga Ultra Light Custom for a drone, carrying Halo’s light over the landscape for the first time.

We weren’t trying to capture the landscape as it is, but to reveal what becomes visible when light meets it differently — and what we risk no longer seeing at all. The research continues.
